In Chuadanga, farmers, fishermen, and educated unemployed youth have adopted modern fish farming techniques under the guidance of the WAVE Foundation, significantly improving their livelihoods and increasing local fish production. Funded by the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation, initiatives have been implemented in the Sadar, Damurhuda, and Alamdanga upazilas, creating a sustainable source of income and helping to meet the demand for animal protein in the region. Over 100 young entrepreneurs now utilize methods such as Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and Bio-floc culture.
